Grab a Word:

Grab 6-8 random words out from the bag (words from ‘Sentence Fixer’).

Toss the words in the air and let them fall to the table.

Read out each word as quickly as possible, and make a sentence using that word.

You may try to make a sentence out of all the words.

Choose one sentence or as many as you like to write into your practice book.

 ‘I have 3 but need 9. How many more groups of 3 do I need to make 9?’
Use your counters to help if you like.
